At Cortefiel, protecting the environment is as important to us as it is to you, which is why we're working hard every day to get responsible clothing to you.

Our most sustainable collection is labelled Eco-friendly. This collection is manufactured using recycled fibres, organic cotton, and water-saving washing techniques.
Using new production processes and new types of fibres and fabrics helps us to reduce the environmental impact of our products. Now you can buy sustainable jeans, t-shirts, blouses, shirts, and jackets.
To find our ECO-FRIENDLY products, look out for the label or take a look at our collections.

We try to save water every day: in the shower, when we brush our teeth, when we clean...
Imagine you could also save water by wearing your favourite jeans? Now you can!

Thanks to laser technology and ozone treatments, our jeans collection saves water (up to 72%) and reduces the amount of chemicals used in production and finishing (such as adding the popular wear and tear effect) by up to 70%.

At Cortefiel we're committed to the future and sustainability. We know we've got a long road ahead so it's better to travel it together.
Cortefiel and all the other TENDAM Group brands joined The Fashion Pact in January 2020, demonstrating our commitment to tackling global warming, protecting the oceans, and restoring biodiversity, together with more than 150 global brands.

After joining The Fashion Pact, Cortefiel also received recognition from the United Nations Global Compact for its commitment to Business Ambition for 1.5oC.
Aiming for zero emissions by 2050, Cortefiel and all TENDAM group brands have joined the pact to reduce carbon emissions and achieve the goal of limiting the increase in global temperature to 1.5oC, based on pre-industrial levels.

More than 800 shops, plus the Cortefiel headquarters (and all TENDAM brands) in Spain will be using renewable energy in 2020 thanks to an agreement signed with Endesa.
With this agreement in place, 100% of the energy is guaranteed to be certified with Guarantees of Origin (GoO), thereby reducing our carbon footprint and preventing the emission of more than 30,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
These are alliances that will turn our sustainability strategy into a reality, marking our commitment to a sustainable energy model with a future.

With these 3 small gestures we'll save water and energy, buy more responsibly, and prolong the life of our garments.
You don't need to wash your clothes after every wear. Hang your blouse or suit on your washing line and any unpleasant odours will disappear. If you stain something, spot clean it.

It's better to use colder rather than hot water, and better to dry naturally than in a dryer - and to make sure your clothes last longer, always follow the washing and drying instructions. We want your clothes to stay with you for longer, not treated like throwaway objects.
Synthetic garments release micro-fragments when you machine wash them. Use washing bags for your polyester and lycra garments. Remove the microfibres after each use - they come off your clothes and tend to deposit in the corners and at the edges of the bag - and throw them in the bin.
